  • Mini-terms (3 weeks) are offered during winter (November-December) and summer breaks; these vary from year to year.
  • An Independent Study Abroad program is available during winter and spring terms.
  • A non-Union program is available in winter and spring.
  • The William Cady Stone Study Abroad Fellowship enables one junior to study abroad for a full year at an accredited institution of his or her choice.
  • In most programs, students are accompanied by a Union professor, who teaches one course.
  • Students live with host families in some countries and in dormitories or apartments in others.
